Winchester’s chefs are battling it out, and you get to pick the winner.
During A Taste of Winchester, some of our best restaurants and cafés are taking on a delicious challenge: to create the ultimate locally grown tomato Canapé.
Chefs across the city will design a signature canapé built around the incredible flavour of a local tomato. Each participating restaurant will offer its creation on the menu during A Taste of Winchester, 22 June-5 July, priced at £5–£7, a perfect excuse to nibble your way around the city. And then the best bit: the public vote. You decide which canapé deserves the crown.
The winning chef will be revealed at the conclusion of our foodie fortnight.
